Spring Festival Time is Around the Corner

SpringAtlanta

The last few cold fronts make it hard to believe that Atlanta’s famous Spring Festival Season is just around the corner. To get us through these final freezing weeks of winter, we thought we would share a few of them, so you can start planning how to de-thaw this March:

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – This family-friendly, started in 1858, making it one of the oldest Irish parades in the country. It celebrates the rich Irish influence on the state of Georgia. Bagpipes, clowns and floats are not the only features of this event, any group can be in the parade, as long as their participation is appropriate for families. The parade is held on Peachtree Street in Midtown on Saturday March 14 from 12 -1:30pm.

American Craft Suwanee Beer Fest —Join Schiavone Law at one of Atlanta’s favorite beer festivals is Outside the Perimeter! We are this year’s Designated Driver Sponsor again this year. With more than 100 breweries represented in the tasting, great entertainment and a home brew contest, this festival will get you in the swing of spring. Be sure to bring a Designated Driver to this event. And maybe even pay for their discounted ticket, while you’re at it. This event is March 14 from 1pm – 5pm.

The Atlanta Film Festival – One of the few Academy Award qualifying film festivals, this event also boasts being one of the longest running film events in the country. Atlanta will welcome more than 25,000 people to view hundreds of different kinds of films, if you would like to be one of them, mark your calendar for March 20-29, 2015.

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival – Just a short drive out of Atlanta, and you can have a cultural experience in pink. Japanese cultural performances, live music, inflatables, the Atlanta Puppet Show and the Ultimate Air Dog Show are just a few of the featured activities at this event. It is held at the International Horse Park, March 21 -22. There’s no charge for festival entry, but parking is $5.

At Schiavone Law Group, we are proud to be a part of such a vibrant community. We hope you enjoy spring in Metro Atlanta as much as we do!
